Big-name Hercules signing David Trezeguet admits he twice could have signed with Barcelona.
Trezeguet turned down some of Europe's biggest clubs to sign with the Spanish Liga new boys.
"I could have joined Barcelona twice," said the World Cup winner. "The first was when (Joan) Laporta became president of the club and the second came with the arrival of (Pep) Guardiola.
"It was my personal goal, because going to an institution as important as Barcelona I would have won everything, for me would it have been a very important step in my career."
