Hercules insist there's been no contact with Inter Milan over David Trezeguet.

The former Juventus striker has been linked with injury-hit Inter ahead of the January market.

But Hercules' technical secretary Escudero 'Paquito' Francisco stated: "We are not aware of anything, we are proud that clubs are interested in our players, and it means that we have made positive changes at the club.

"The players agent told us several teams were interested, but we heard nothing. We had a conversation based on assumptions."
