Hercules granting Trezeguet free transfer

Hercules are set to hand French striker David Trezeguet a free transfer.

Trezeguet only moved to Hercules in the summer from Juventus.

"I've spoken with the President of Hercules," agent Antonio Caliendo told Radio Kiss Kiss. "Trezeguet will be free in June.

"He'll rescind his contract and will be available on a free transfer."

The striker has been linked with Napoli in the past and his representative would be in favour of such a switch.

"Napoli would be an important move, but they have a few other things to think about right now as they have to resolve the Walter Mazzarri problem," the agent added.

"But David is one of the most prolific strikers in Europe, a player who averages 20 goals a season."
