Hercules coach Esteban Vigo is fuming with Royston Drenthe over his strike action.
The on-loan Real Madrid wing-back is staying away while he waits to be paid.
However, the other players are in the same situation and have all trained normally and Vigo believes Drenthe's actions are without justification.
"I haven't spoken to him, but in 18 years as a professional I have never come across a situation like this," the coach said. "His attitude is unjustifiable."
Drenthe, who has impressed in his time at the club so far, will not start at Real Mallorca in the Primera Division clash on Monday.
"All of the players are important, another player will come in and that's that," Vigo added.
