West Bromwich Albion are wrapping up a deal for Heracles Almelo defender Jason Davidson.
The Dutch club's chairman, Jan Smit, has told TC Tubantia a fee for the Australia international is close to being agreed with WBA.
Davidson could've moved to Albion on a free IF he had actually remembered a break clause in his contract.
The left-back forgot to inform Heracles Almelo that he intended to move on before the deadline - May 15 - fell, so triggering a new deal with the Eredivisie outfit.
Davidson has played in two and a half years with Heracles Almelo, competing in 46 league games.
