Henry reveals Arsenal move down to Moggi

Thierry Henry has revealed that he would never have joined Arsenal if not for disgraced former Juventus sports director Luciano Moggi.

The now Barcelona striker said: "When I came to Juve I had a problem with my back but I wanted to play at once.

"When (Carlo) Ancelotti became manager I began to play all the games.

"Then something happened with Moggi which I didn't like - I don't want to go into detail. My character came out because I am an honest lad and, for me, it was a case of disrespect.

"If that hadn't happened, I would probably have continued to play for Juventus. But after this lack of respect I told them I didn't want to play there anymore and so I left."
