Thierry Henry is unavailable for New York Red Bull's clash with Montreal Impact this weekend.
The French skipper sustained a mild sprain of his MCL (medial collateral ligament) in his left knee in the 0-0 draw with DC United last week and will miss the trip to take on the MLS league leaders in Quebec.
"He's out vs. Montreal, he hopes to be back against Philadelphia (Union on March 30)," said head coach Mike Petke.
"Thierry is someone who always wants to play. I was seriously moving toward not even bringing him to Montreal. No decision was final, we had a week from the DC game. Then he had this setback, but it's not serious.
"This is ideal not to have him play on turf. It's not ideal how it worked out, but it is ideal."
