Henry hoping Man Utd target Ibrahimovic makes Premier League move

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry hopes Zlatan Ibrahimovic can be brought to the Premier League.

The Daily Star says Manchester United are plotting a sensational swoop and have made the Swede one of their main summer transfer targets.

The 34-year-old will be a free agent in June after failing to agree a new deal with Paris St-Germain.

Henry, who played with Zlatan at Barcelona, told The Sun: "Ibrahimovic has won more league titles than any player in history but has never lifted the European Cup.

"That's why I think he could sign for one of England's biggest clubs if he doesn't win the Champions League this season, rather than take up the massive offers from China and Middle East.

"The fact Zlatan is even thinking of leaving Paris St-Germain when his contract expires this summer should alert every Premier League club.

"In my opinion, he is one of the greatest strikers of all time, someone who has changed the game with the way he plays.

"Now he is up for a new challenge and the idea of conquering the Premier League clearly appeals."
