Henry full of praise for NYRB debutant Le Toux

Thierry Henry was thrilled to see New York Red Bull debutant Sebastien Le Toux perform so well on the weekend.

The Red Bulls were held to a 2-2 draw by Seattle Sounders at Red Bull Arena with Le Toux, and Bill Gaudette, both putting in full shifts just days after being traded from Vancouver Whitecaps and LA Galaxy respectively.

Frenchman Le Toux scored in his first game as New York stayed third on the Eastern Conference table and it was a performance that pleased fellow attacker Henry.

"Sebastien had a great game," said Henry. "Scoring a goal in his first game for us was great. Bill also played well."

And Le Toux was equally happy to contribute in his first match for the Red Bulls and is hoping to kick on at Chicago Fire this coming week.

"I'm very happy to score my first goal in my new uniform and just disappointed we didn't win tonight," Le Toux said. "We have to continue and get the win Wednesday against the Fire."
