Thierry Henry admits he was thinking more about the teams errors rather than his hat-trick after New York Red Bulls won 5-2 on the weekend.
The Frenchman helped guide the Red Bulls to a second home win in a row against expansion franchise Montreal Impact but says he was pondering how the team let in two easy goals rather than his own heroics.
"I mean, don't get me wrong; I was happy and everything. But I was thinking about the first half.
"While I was taking a shower I was thinking about the first half and how we can try to erase giving goals away.
"It's a team effort; you can't point someone out because of a mistake. We have to do it as a team and play well for 90 minutes; it's not that easy, but not give goals away. We have to make it hard for a team to beat us.''"I'm saying to you right now, I don't think about it (the hat-trick)," he said.
The Red Bulls are now sitting second on the Eastern Conference table, six points behind early tear-away team Sporting Kansas City, after dropping their first two matches of the 2012 season with Henry leading the league on five goals in four appearances.
