Former Manchester United defender Henning Berg is chasing compensation from Blackburn Rovers.

The Daily Express says the Norwegian yesterday submitted a complaint to the High Court via the League Managers Association.

LMA chief executive Richard Bevan said: "We have lodged papers in the High Court for non-payment of wages to Henning.

It is disappointing for a club who bring in a manager from abroad, give him just 56 days to try to impart his culture on to the club and gain success and then, at the end, monies due are not paid.

"It is difficult, expensive and depressing that we have to go through the legal process on so many occasions."
