Injured Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey says he will work as hard as he can to get back and help the club bounce straight back to the Premier League.

The Wales international has been ruled out for six months after tearing his cruciate ligament at Sunderland on April 14 but is already thinking about his return so he can assist the relegated Molineux outfit in their bid to again play in the top flight.

"I'll work hard over the summer and hopefully be back playing for Wolves when I'm ready again," he said.

"Our aim now has to be to bounce back by getting promoted.

"We've got a lot of players who came up through the Championship, so we know what the league's about. Hopefully we can do it again."
