Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson refuses to contemplate defeat in their FA Cup replay clash at Blackburn Rovers.

As Liverpool's only chance of doing that is in this competition, it makes the date at Ewood Park a vital occasion.

The Anfield vice-captain said: "I want to win things and hopefully I can do that this season and for many seasons to come.

"I definitely think I'm in the right place to do that because at Liverpool we've got fantastic players.

"There is real quality at the club and a lot of potential - we are a young team.

"A big part of us is wanting to win trophies and I really feel we can do that. It is a similar situation with England.

"I really feel we are going in the right direction and hopefully at next year's Euros in France we can do something special."
