Jordan Henderson is confident of his future at Liverpool under manager Brendan Rodgers.
The former Sunderland midfielder has featured in the last two games for the Reds.
"I was happy with the way things went but I have to improve an awful lot of things," said Henderson. "In the final third, I need to get better. Defensively I have been sold and done what the manager asked. The fee doesn't bother me. People might talk about it but that had nothing to do with me.
"A move to Liverpool has to be for life, not just for Christmas. When I signed, I definitely wanted it to be for the long term. I want to make sure that when I am given my opportunities, I work hard and try to take them."
