Jordan Henderson insists Liverpool can survive without Steven Gerrard.

Henderson knows he will have a major role to play once Gerrard jets off to the MLS this summer - and believes he is ready for the challenge.

He said: "If we keep working hard on the training field and learn from our mistakes, I really feel we can win trophies and be a very successful team.

"It will be very hard as it isn't easy to win trophies. But I have got every belief that we can achieve it. If I didn't I wouldn't have joined here."
