Jordan Henderson is delighted with his recent run of Liverpool games.

The England Under-21 midfielder has muscled his way into Rodgers' starting line-up ahead of Joe Allen and Jonjo Shelvey and claims the competition for places at Anfield brings the best out of everyone.

"I think we've got a lot of good players in the team so it's a headache every week for the manager - and that's a good thing!" he said.

"It makes everyone push on in training and try to improve, so if we keep playing like that we'll be alright."
