Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson is pleased to have established himself in the first team at Anfield.
Henderson's appearance on Tuesday night was his 36thinvolvement in 37 Premier League games this year and the youngster, who played 71 games for Sunderland before making the switch to Anfield, is delighted to have featured so prominently during his first season on Merseyside.
"That's been very pleasing," Henderson told LFC Weekly. "Obviously I want to play in every game that I'm fit and available for, so yes, I've enjoyed playing on a regular basis and hopefully I can carry on doing that.
"That gelling process doesn't just happen overnight but I think good players should be able to play with each other pretty quickly. It depends which way you look at it but, of course, it takes time for everyone to gel.
