Hellas Verona expect to start the season with Jorginho still on the books.
The midfielder came close to signing for Fiorentina this summer.
"Fiorentina did go in search of Jorginho, but they didn't really start a true negotiation for him," Verona sporting director Sean Sogliano revealed.
