Hellas Verona coach Gigi Del Neri says Napoli are title contenders.

Napoli thumped Verona in the Coppa Italia this week.

Del Neri said: “We must learn to believe in what we are doing and be ready to fight for Serie A safety. Napoli forwards have a lot of quality, but I got very angry in the first half because they were winning every tackle. We need to be more determined.

“Considering their form, Napoli are a strong candidate for the Scudetto and their style of football will improve more as time goes on under Maurizio Sarri."
