QPR striker Heidar Helguson has lauded the character shown by the players so far this season.
The R's sit ninth on the Premier League table following their hard-fought 3-2 win at Stoke City on Saturday and the two-goal hero of the day was full of praise for the way his teammates went about it.
"That says it all about the character we've got," he told the club's official website.
"I don't think there's any more to say or add on to that. That just shows you what we've got in terms of togetherness and everything else.
"You don't go to Stoke and pick up anything if you are not all together."
And Helguson was also complimentary of the R's defensive unit which stood up under pressure at the Britannia Stadium on the weekend.
"We pretty-much dealt with anything they threw at us towards the end," he added.
"I thought the four at the back were absolutely tremendous for us, and they had to be.
"With the way Stoke get the ball forward quickly - well, they did against us on Saturday anyway - you have to be on the front foot, and you have to be ready."
