Hejduk looks to kick start Columbus Crew season

Frankie Hejduk is set to return and lead Columbus Crew this weekend against Kansas City. US International Hejduk is looking for his team to kick start their season after a disappointing start.

"This is a big game for us on Saturday. Everybody knows that," Hejduk said. "The first win we get will be a fresh start for us. Hopefully it's this Saturday.

"I try to go out there and play as hard as I can and hope that helps the guy next to me out and maybe that helps the guy next to him out and hopefully that energy just moves throughout the field," he said. "It's no secret that's part of my game. I'm bringing it and tackling hard. I'm not the glorious dribbler and step-over king. I try to get the team pumped up in a different way. That's through tackles."
