Fulham defender Johnny Heitinga feels they need four wins to be safe.
Felix Magath's side were thrashed 5-0 by City and face Champions League-chasing Everton at Craven Cottage on Sunday, knowing victory is crucial to their chances of survival.
"From the seven games left we need to win at least four of them," Heitinga told the London Evening Standard. "It will be hard but we can only go up from here. This is my first time in a relegation battle but you have to deal with the same pressures as when you are challenging for trophies. The trophy for us is staying in the Premier League. In football, things can change quickly and we are still confident that we can stay up."
