Schalke chief Christian Heidel insists they're not giving up on keeping Leon Goretzka.
The midfielder, off contract in June, is a target for Arsenal and Liverpool.
Heidel insists the 22-year-old midfielder has not yet informed the Bundesliga outfit of his long term intentions.
He said: “I think if Schalke had no chance to keep him I would be the first to know that. But I haven't received that kind of information until now.
“Leon will make a decision soon without us building any pressure on him."
Liverpool see Goretzka as a replacement for Emre Can, who is also off contract in June.
