Heerenveen are sticking with their €10 million asking price for Alfred Finnbogason.
The Daily Mail says Finnbogason’s prolific form in the Eredivisie has also attracted a host of other suitors, with new Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believed to have placed the 24-year-old at the top of his wanted list, while Everton, Roma and Villarreal have been strongly linked.
The player recently recruited new agent Kees Ploegsma, who has insisted the asking price set by Heerenveen is too high.
"It is logical that the club aims high, but I found the price tag of 10million euros (£8.25m) unrealistic," he complained.
"I think Heerenveen would consider any serious offer. It is clear that Alfred wants to leave and the chances are very good that it happens in the summer. "
