Heath reveals Austin Aztex prospects set for Stoke trials

Austin Aztex coach Adrian Heath has revealed several of his brightest prospects are set for trials at Stoke City. Former Stoke and Everton star Heath told BBC Radio Stoke: "We're planning on sending a couple to Stoke at the end of our season.

"Our aim in the long term is to supply players with potential to Stoke, and if they feel that they're not up to that level, they can place them elsewhere.

"I've got three or four players here who I know can play in England, but we have to find out what level that's going to be at."

The affiliation between the Aztex and the Potters was born in January 2008.

The side, owned by City director Phil Rawlins, has an ex-Potter in its ranks in Gifton Noel Williams.
