Assistant boss Billy Brown has assured Hearts fans the club is determined to add further quality signings to the capture of Kevin Kyle. Boss Jim Jefferies is keen to add more new faces over the summer but Brown says they will only make a move for targets who they are confident are right for Hearts.

He told Hearts News: "We are trying but getting good players - and the right types of players in - isn't easy.

"We know what our aims are - whether we can get them or not we don't know.

"But we are making every endeavour to bring in one or two more faces if it is at all possible."
