Hearts won't panic in market, insists Frail

"We're not pushing the panic button," the Hearts assistant said after the 1-0 defeat by Hibernian at Tynecastle.

"People are thinking we will get £8-9m for Craig [Gordon]. But if any of that is made available then we won't be buying for the sake of buying.

"We've got to make sure that those we bring in enhance the squad."

A goal after two minutes from Brian Kerr was enough to separate the sides.

"We are very disappointed to lose the opening game of the season when you have done all your hard work in pre-season and everything is geared to this game against your local rivals," Frail told BBC Sport.

"It could not be a worse night and we need to dust ourselves down and get ourselves ready for Sunday's game against Aberdeen."
