Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo would like to establish a player exchange programme with his former employers Borussia Monchengladbach. Further discussions are planned with Max Eberl, sporting director of the German outfit, in a bid to set up a mutually beneficial scheme prior to next season.
Laszlo told the Daily Record: "Maybe we can have a good collaboration next season.
"They have a very young team and some very interesting players. They also have a very strong academy that produces many youngsters with a good football knowledge.
"My intention is to build a good relationship with them. Maybe we can get some players, maybe we can give them some players.
"To play in the Bundesliga is very interesting for any footballer. There is a fantastic infrastructure. In fact, Germany's infrastructure is among the best in the world.
"It would be great to have good relations with Monchengladbach and maybe organise friendly games. I must call their sport director back because he has left a message for me. I think the relationship with him will be great.
"I am very active in terms of getting young players to Scotland for next season
