Liverpool academy chief Frank McParland has highlighted the attitude of Michael Ngoo.

The striker is on-loan at Hearts, but made sure to get to Anfield for Liverpool's FA Youth Cup semi with Chelsea.

McParland told liverpoolfc.com: "Michael's on loan at Hearts at the moment - he's doing really well - and on Friday night he drove all the way down from Edinburgh to watch the U18s play at Anfield.

"He rang me earlier in the week because he was desperate for me to get him a ticket.

"That boy just loves being part of Liverpool and we hope that all kids who play for us feel the same way."
