Hearts have rejected a third Wolves bid for their captain Christophe Berra.

The central defender has caught the eye of Mick McCarthy, but the Wolves boss has been forced to admit that a deal now looks unlikely.

He said: "Hearts are not selling Berra. They want to build the team around him."
