Free agent Craig Beattie has irons in the fire but would consider a return to Hearts. The 28 year old spent the latter half of last season at Tynecastle and helped them win the Scottish Cup.
"If we can come to some sort of agreement that's reasonable then I'll certainly look at it."
Beattie began his career with Celtic but was released by Swansea in January after a spell on loan with Watford.
Speaking to BBC Radio Scotland's Off the Ball programme, Beattie revealed possible interest in his services from non-UK clubs.
"I'm just talking to a few clubs at the minute," he said.
"I've spoken to Hearts, I've spoken to several other clubs and there's a couple of other things going on in Europe as well and further afield." "I had a great time there," Beattie said of his spell at Hearts. "I did really well, enjoyed the club and I think they liked having me.
