Hearts striker Christian Nade admits he lost his head against Dundee United and that boss Csaba Laszlo was right to take him off before half time. The striker clashed with United full-back Paul Dixon with a late barge on the touchline and received a yellow card.

The former Sheffield United hitman then reacted angrily when Laszlo withdrew him.

"I was upset at the time as I wanted to play in what was a very important game for us but I was taken off after half-an-hour," the 24 year old told Hearts News Today.

"Although I calmed down very quickly afterwards, I shouldn't have reacted the way I did and I think the manager's decision was the right one for me and the team.

"Had I stayed on, I might have got sent off and that would have left us with 10 men for an hour of the match and I would have missed the game against Aberdeen."

"I had been getting fouled throughout the game without anything happening," he said.

"I was up front on my own and desperate to score as I've only got the one goal this season so far and it was just a very frustrating game for me.

"I maybe lost my head a bit but I will learn from this and be stronger for it."
