Hearts midfielder Carrick unsure of future

Dale Carrick admits he is not too sure if he will be with Heart of Midlothian again next season.

The 20-year old forward has had a breakout season in the Scottish Premiership, scoring four times in 20 outings, but does not know if he will remain at Tynecastle due to the current administration problems the Edinburgh club is experiencing.

"I really hope I've done enough. All I can do is keep playing my best football but I'm delighted with my form right now," Carrick told the Daily Record.

"And the main thing is what happens off the field. When that's sorted, hopefully we'll get everyone tied up."

Hearts have been relegated from Scotland's top flight to the second division but Carrick is still extremely excited about next term if he happens to stay with the Jambos.

"The Championship will be a cracking test and I'm really looking forward to it," he added.
