Hearts have asked the Scottish Football Association for a formal explanation for the performance of the officials in their controversial Clydesdale Bank Premier League defeat at Hamilton. Manager Csaba Laszlo has written to the SFA expressing his "serious concern" about the performance of referee David Somers and his assistants at New Douglas Park on Sunday.
Laszlo said: "Clearly, I try as much as possible to be fair with my comments regarding referees and, if you look back at my time since becoming Hearts manager, you will see I am actually very positive in my comments where I can be.
"However, it is clear to me that I share the views of a number of other managers who genuinely believe that the standard of officiating is one of the biggest challenges the game in Scotland faces."
