Hearts stopper Marian Kello will do all he can to avoid surgery on his troublesome shoulder picked up against Kilmarnock last month. The 27-year-old Slovakian, who is on loan from Lithuanian outfit FC Kaunas, hopes only to miss a further two weeks.
"The worst-case scenario is I will require an operation but I will try everything to avoid that," he told the Daily Record.
"The ligaments have been damaged and I had an injection last week but it's still not OK.
"The doctor has said that maybe in two weeks I will be fine. I hope so but at the moment the pain is not going away.
"I will try to do everything to be fit. I am training as much as I can every day and getting treatment."
