Hearts defender Ibrahim Tall is desperate to complete his move to Strasbourg.
Tall said: "I spoke with Mr Romanov last week to express my desire to go back to France.
"My fear is time is running out. Hearts have an offer from Strasbourg who desperately want to get in a new defender before the transfer window shuts.
"The longer this goes on the more likely Strasbourg will move on to someone else. Hearts will then miss out on the money and I will lose my chance to go back to France.
"I only have a year of my deal left and in a few months I could sign a contract to leave them for nothing anyway.
"I arrived here on a free transfer so it makes a lot of sense for Hearts to cash in on me now and surely Mr Romanov can understand it's not ideal to keep a player who wants to go."
