Heart of Midlothian's Ryan McGowan admits he is considering a possible switch of allegiance from Australia to Scotland.
The 22-year old defender has represented the Socceroos at all youth levels but has yet to play for the seniors and he says he is pondering a Scotland switch as his parents were born in the country.
"But I'm not really going to put too much thought into it until I get a concrete offer.
"I need to find out if Scotland want me or don't want me.
"All my family - mum and dad, uncles and aunties - were born in Scotland.
"My folks would be very proud if I played for Scotland. But they will leave it up to me on who I want to play for.
"They will be behind me 100 per cent whoever I chose.""Yeah, I've thought about playing for Scotland instead of Australia," McGowan said.
