Hearts coach Stephen Frail is reluctant to throw Aussie youngster Ryan McGowan into their relegation battle.

Defender McGowan has enjoyed rapid progress at Hearts in the last six months, but Frail admits: "We have young Ryan McGowan, who I think has a great future in the game but the way our results have been going it might be detrimental to throw him in (at this stage)."
