Hearts coach Frail plays down Riordan interest

Hearts coach Stephen Frail has played down their interest in Celtic striker Derek Riordan.

He said: "I'm not saying it couldn't happen but at the moment it's speculation. Derek Riordan is a good football player but he's at another rival club so it's all just speculation.

"He would have to play something to get into that team because although he's a really good player we had two guys on the sides in Andrew Driver and Audrius Ksanavicius, and we brought on Laryea Kingston, and the level they played at would make it difficult for anyone to replace them.

"That's not to say the boy's not a good player but I was delighted with my own team."
