Hearts boss targets assault on SPL title next season

Csaba Laszlo is confident he has assembled a squad capable of challenging for the SPL title next season. The Hearts chief said: "I came here to a club which in four years before had I don't know how many managers.

"But I brought my family here and got a flat because I was convinced I could stay for a very long time.

"If you don't have this in your soul and blood, you could be sacked after two or three weeks.

"The risks in this job are very high but you must have a confidence in yourself, that you can do something which can bring success in the long-term.

"I won't stay here for five, six, 10 or 20 years but I try and I have the confidence.

"My target was to qualify for the top six and we are in the top six. Now, my target is to qualify for Europe, if possible in third position.

"I can't get to first place (this season) but maybe next year and for this I fight to bring more players here."
