Heart of Midlothian manager Paulo Sergio is likely to make his players work harder after finding out that they have far too much free time for his liking.
The Portuguese tactician has cancelled the players' weekday off and says they could also be doing double training sessions soon.
"We've changed that. I believe Wednesday's maybe a better day in the week to work. Now we don't stop on a Wednesday, we just have a day off on Sunday or Monday depending on the day we play," Sergio said.
"If you play on a Saturday and have a day off on a Sunday, when the players arrive on Monday the ones who played need time to recover.
"Before on a Tuesday they would work hard, they were off on the Wednesday and then they returned on Thursday to do something else.
"Then on Friday they would practice because the game was on the Saturday. So really, they were only working on Tuesday and Thursday.
"But how can you work with your players if they don't sleep with the ball every day? How can they improve if they don't touch the ball one million times a week?
"If I was in Portugal just now we would be doing double sessions and in time I will introduce that here.
"But right now I don't want to make another huge change because that could have a bad impact on the players.
"We will change things gradually and see what happens in the future."
