Hearts boss Jim Jefferies insists he is unaware of any bid for Andrew Driver. Burnley are understood to have lodged an offer of £1.5milion for the England Under 21 international winger.
But reports north of the border suggest Hearts want almost double the £1.5million offered by the Clarets for the 22 year old.
"Nobody has told me anything about a bid from Burnley for Andy or offers from any other clubs for that matter," Hearts boss Jim Jefferies told the Daily Record.
"It may well be the case that an offer has been made, but it is news to me.
"I'm not saying that there has not been interest in the player because everybody can see that the lad is a great talent.
"Any offers for players will have to be discussed by the relevant football people including the manager."
