Heart of Midlothian manager John McGlynn is of the belief that people feel his club are the new Rangers.
The Jambos are struggling financially, just as 'Gers did after their tax avoidance issue hit home, and McGlynn feels all outsiders have been quick to stick the boots in.
However, the Hearts boss suggests that the current climate at Tynecastle will only make the club stronger as he looks to improve results in the season run-in.
"We're the same as Rangers last year. When you are down people just boot you. That's how it goes," he said.
"('Gers boss) Ally McCoist has been through that as well.
"Are we easy targets? Yes. We've brought it on ourselves but we're an easy target.
"People probably feel we've overspent and all the rest of it which might be the case.
"We can stop it by starting to win football matches.
"That helps and it's the thing that makes all the doubters go away.
"It's obviously not as simple as that because of the circumstances we're in, but the future is still enormously bright because of the experience being gained by the players now."
