Hearts boss Jefferies not getting complacent

Heart of Midlothian manager Jim Jefferies says he will not get complacent with the current form of his team.

The Jambos are sitting third on the Scottish Premier League table after a run of six wins and a draw in their past seven matches and Jefferies is well aware that it could all change against St Mirren tonight.

"If you can't enjoy the way the team is playing right now, then you will never enjoy it," he said.

"We're not going to become complacent, that's the last thing we want.

"I told the players just yesterday that complacency is the only thing in our way right now.

"I've been in football long enough to know it can kick you in the teeth if you switch off.

"Hearts are not going to win every game, we know that. But we might go on a great run.

"I remember at Berwick we went 22 games unbeaten. That would be nice."
