Hearts to agree new deal with Dylan McGowan

The agent of Dylan McGowan suggests that Heart of Midlothian are hoping to secure him to a new deal.

The 21-year old versatile Australian recently saw older brother Ryan depart Tynecastle to join Chinese outfit Shandong Luneng but his representative Lou Sticca feels there will be no Edinburgh exit for the younger McGowan.

"I've had a discussion with Mr Fedotovas about Dylan so I'm sure that they realise the value of Dylan at the club and I'm sure they want to keep him," Sticca told SunSport.

"The communication channels with Hearts are alive and well.

"We think Dylan will match what Ryan did at Hearts and we have high hopes for him.

"There is no urgency at the moment with regards to the talks.

"Dylan is loving it at Hearts and wants to build his own relationship with the fans and club as Ryan did, and Hearts are keen to keep him."
