Recent speculation suggests that Melbourne Victory youngster Mate Dugandzic could be on his way to derby rivals Melbourne Heart.

The 21-year old is out of contract at the end of the Victory's Asian Champions League campaign making him available to rival A-League clubs, some of which are showing plenty of interest.

It is believed that Dugandzic may follow former Victory teammate Aziz Behich to the Heart but the freshman club may face competition from one or two other outfits who are interested in the former Melbourne Knights man.

Duganzic is also toying with the idea of again heading to Europe for trials, possibly with German clubs, following his experiences in Croatia with Dinamo Zagreb and Lokomotiva in 2008 and 2009.
