Republic of Ireland assistant coach Roy Keane is confident his namesake Robbie Keane will be fine to take part in his country's Euro2016 qualifier this week.
The Irish host world champions Germany in a must-win match in Dublin on Thursday but there has been some talk that captain Keane may not be available after his wife Claudine gave birth to their second child in the USA.
Coach Keane spoke to the media after training on Tuesday and gave a humorous response when asked if the LA Galaxy star will be right to take his place in Martin O'Neill's starting XI.
The former Manchester United captain said: “Yes, why wouldn't he be?
“He didn't have the baby. Unless he's breast-feeding he should be all right."
