Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi was left gutted by his spotkick miss last night.

Batshuayi had a late chance to round off Belgium's 3-0 World Cup qualifying win over Cyprus - but fluffed his penalty.

"F * ck meeee! Disappointing match for me, luckily the team had already completed the job when I missed the penalty.

"Congratulations Red Devils, on to the next job!" Batshuayi later tweeted.

Red Devils skipper Eden Hazard explained: "It was 0-3 and Michy asked if he could take it and I wanted to give him some confidence so he will find the way to goal at Chelsea. I'm sorry that he could not score.

"The next penalty in an important game I will take. I'll take back my responsibility."
