Chelsea winger Eden Hazard admits they cannot afford defeat to Champions League opponents FC Basle.

Saturday's defeat at Everton, in a game they dominated for long periods, was a blow for the Blues, but Belgian schemer Hazard promised an immediate response.

He said: "We need to win because Chelsea is a big club and if we lose two games it's very bad for us.

"If we'd scored in the first half at Everton it would have been different. Now we need to work in training to help us beat Basel."
