Hawaiian craft beer served at LA Galaxy

Los Angeles Galaxy have entered into a new multi-year partnership with Kona Brewing Company, reports sportspromedia.com

The deal, which was brokered by AEG Global Partnerships, will see Kona become the official craft beer, starting with this season.

As part of the agreement, the Hawaii-based brewery will install the Kona Lanai bar at the Galaxy's StubHub Center home in order to offer fans its range of beers, including Big Wave Golden Ale, Longboard Island Lager and Hanalei Island IPA.

"We look forward to working with Kona Brewing Co. to give our fans a taste of the island life," said Robert Vartan, senior director of AEG Global Partnerships. "Our partnership will allow us to offer our fans even more options to enhance their game-day experience."

"Kona Brewing Co. is all about getting outside in the sun and having fun with friends and family," added Widaliz Quinones, brand manager for Kona Brewing Co.

"This new partnership with the LA Galaxy is a perfect opportunity for us to share the aloha spirit with soccer fans in Southern California, and we couldn't think of a better teammate on the mainland."
